Introduce yourself
My name is Manav and I’m studying Health Informatics. Currently in my 4th year. I chose this class as I wanted to bolster and enhance my knowledge in webpage/multimedia design. Here is an image that encapsulates what field I intend to go into. Learning how to create and design webpages may be very useful in my future endeavors, specifically when handling patient data and designing informative health related websites/infographics.

- What kind of learner are you, and what does that change about how you design for others?
I absorb knowledge fast and I try to apply it consistently before it eventually becomes engrained and natural. I would love to learn how to design and provide information in an aesthetic manner.
- Which of the course topics — multimedia design, design thinking, storytelling, interactive objects — are you most curious about?
All of the components make me curious as I want to further strengthen my knowledge and expertise in creative design
- What have you made before? A slide deck, a video, a lesson plan, a comic. What worked and what did not?
I’m familiar with editing youtube videos on Imovie, creating slide decks using google slides as well as powerpoint. I have a lot more to learn and this class can help me achieve that.
- What do you want to be able to do by the end of the term?
I want to be able to do everything and I want my progression to be on a weekly basis, learning, absorbing and designing this page better as I learn more from the course.
